7.5L roll-top dry bag for cargo cages

The 7Roads Scow is a waterproof bikepacking fork bag designed to carry extra gear on your bicycle's cargo cages.

It has one large compartment, a roll-top closure and enough room for up to 7.5 litres of clothing, camping equipment or other essentials.

Scow fits the 7Roads Carapace Cargo Cage and other compatible cargo cages. Two attachment straps with Woojin cam buckles are included.

Construction and waterproofing

All stitched seams are sealed from the inside using Ultra PSA waterproof seam tape. The back panel is reinforced with TPU-coated Cordura to protect the bag against rubbing on the cargo cage.

The roll-top closure adjusts to the amount of gear inside. Roll it at least three times before fastening to help keep rain, mud and road spray out.

The bag is designed for wet riding conditions but is not recommended for submersion in water.

Fabrics

We offer Scow in three technical fabrics. Each has different characteristics depending on whether you prefer lower weight, recycled materials or a special look.

Ultra 200X for low weight and high strength

Ultra 200X by Challenge Outdoor is a lightweight laminated fabric made from a blend of UHMWPE (Ultra-PE) fibres and high-tenacity polyester.

It has very good tear and abrasion resistance for its weight and a distinctive technical appearance.

This is our lightest Scow option, weighing approximately 110 grams without attachment straps.

Choose Ultra 200X if keeping the weight down is your priority.

ECOPAK EPLX400 with recycled polyester

ECOPAK EPLX400 by Challenge Sailcloth is made entirely from recycled polyester components, including a 400D face fabric, reinforcing fibres and waterproof film backing.

It is a durable material with good abrasion resistance and a matte technical finish.

EPLX400 is our preferred option for customers who want to prioritise recycled materials without giving up durability.
The weight is approximately 120–125 grams without attachment straps.

X-Pac X11 with a natural cotton finish

X-Pac X11 by Dimension-Polyant combines an organic cotton outer face with a waterproof laminated construction.

Unlike more technical-looking synthetic fabrics, X11 has a softer, matte surface with a traditional canvas-like feel. Its construction also includes recycled polyester reinforcing fibres.

X11 is considerably heavier than Ultra 200X or EPLX400 but offers a different look and feel. A good choice if you prefer more natural-looking bikepacking equipment.
The weight is approximately 130–140 grams without attachment straps.

All three fabrics have waterproof laminate backing.

Size and capacity

Scow has a rectangular bottom, this comes from the one-piece construction. 

The bag diameter is approximately 17.5 cm. This is a general reference rather than an exact diameter, as the bag's shape changes depending on its contents.

With the roll-top folded three times, the bag is approximately 34–35 cm tall. Maximum capacity is around 7.5 litres.

Mounting on a cargo cage

Scow is designed to work with the 7Roads Carapace Cargo Cage, but it can also be used with other compatible cargo cages.

Two adjustable straps with Woojin cam buckles are supplied with each bag.

We recommend using Scow for softer equipment such as clothing, a sleeping bag or a lightweight camping setup. If you carry hard objects, wrap them in clothing to reduce rubbing and pressure against the bag.

Always check wheel clearance and strap tension before riding.
