The best possible review for the Nest rack and OCT bag you may find on the Bike Gear Database website
we never received such an amazing review, so hope you will enjoy reading it as much as we did)

The Nest Rack is a bicycle front rack mounted on the 1-1/8 steerer (28.6 mm).
It consists of a steerer ring and a detachable front rack platform.
That's why the Nest rack is fast and easy to attach, so you may use it for bikepacking adventures, for long gravel or road riding, and you will easily dismount it in a minute from your bike when you want to go minimalistic)
A bicycle steerer rack may be a great solution for those cyclists who have forks without any eyelets but want to have some support for a handlebar bag.
Also, it's a really helpful piece of gear for those who want to extend a bag from the head tube.
Using the Nest rack you will keep cables safe as well)
The Nest rack has a detachable front light mount!
It makes it much easier to ride with the front bag at night!
Because you don't need to think about where to instal a light)

Nest Rack Compatibility Check
To install the Nest Rack Steerer Ring, your bike needs enough free space on the fork steerer tube (the tube that passes through the headset and stem).
Required Space
- 18 mm of exposed steerer tube below the stem
This is the minimum space needed to clamp the steerer ring securely. - Approx. 23–25 mm clearance between the bottom of the stem and the top of the headset / headset cover
This extra space is recommended because the Nest Rack platform sits slightly upward when installed. It helps ensure proper fit and clearance.
Important Note
The exact required clearance can vary slightly depending on your bike’s head tube angle and front-end geometry. Bikes with slacker or steeper head angles may position the rack differently.
Not Sure If It Fits?
Send us a photo of your bike’s stem and headset area, and we’ll be happy to help check compatibility before ordering.
We recommend limiting the load on the rack to 3-4kg depending on the road surfaces.
