7Roads was founded in 2016 and has been run ever since by two bikepacking enthusiasts, Helen Semchenko and Stanislav Kostak. Among the many passions we share, bikepacking has always held a special place in our hearts. 
We began to create bags for ourselves and our friends back in 2010, maybe. When we just started to make overnight rides. Over time our passion gradually evolved into a full-fledged family business dedicated to providing high-quality bikepacking gear for adventurers around the world.
Our longest trip so far
In 2017, we embarked on a three-month cycling tour across Europe, an incredible journey that taught us invaluable lessons about bike touring. However, throughout the trip, we realized that road touring was not quite our calling. Although we enjoyed the adventure, the predictable routes and cycling infrastructure did not bring us the thrill we were looking for.
A place we call home
A few months before our European tour, we moved from the noisy capital of Ukraine to the much quieter city of Kovel in the Volyn region.
Here, we found ourselves surrounded by large pine forests, wild swamps, peaceful lakes, and the labyrinths of rivers.
This region, one of the wildest and most pristine in our country, provided the perfect backdrop for our evolving bikepacking adventures.
It offered us the opportunity to explore nature right from our doorstep, pushing the limits of our endurance and our gear.
A nature has forged our style
The challenges of our new terrain — often rain, rough and unpredictable roads, deep sand, and gloomy boggy landscapes — shaped our approach to designing bike bags and racks. We quickly learned that to travel in these conditions, gear needed to be not just durable, but also versatile.
We committed ourselves to creating products that were multifunctional, waterproof, and highly reliable, yet still comfortable and easy to use.
As our journey continues, we pesonally test our products in the harsh conditions, and constantly seek ways to improve.
Every product we create is a reflection of our experiences in the wild—built to withstand the toughest adventures while making the ride more enjoyable.
Philosophy
At 7Roads, we believe that bikepacking is not about the destination, it is about embracing the journey, meeting challenges, overcoming them, breathing the air of freedom to the fullest and enjoying every moment of the adventure!
