The 7R Handlebar System is a modular, fully waterproof bikepacking handlebar bag built for real routes: long days, bad weather, rough roads, and quick stops.
Run it minimal with a harness and 13L dry sack only, add the front accessory bag for fast access, or use each part off the bike as a shoulder/waist bag.
What makes it different
-
Modular design: fast and effortless mounting and dismounting
- Fully waterproof: laminated waterproof fabrics + taped seams + roll-top closure.
- Stable harness: keeps the load controlled and helps prevent “bag-on-cables” problems common with soft bar rolls.
- Off-bike carry: the accessory bag converts to waist/crossbody/tiny backpack; the 13L sack can become a simple shoulder bag using the included strap.
The Handlebar System consists of 3 elements
1) Harness (260 g)
A dedicated handlebar harness with all straps included, plus a pair of plastic spacers for creating clearance between the bag and the handlebar.
2) Waterproof 13L Sack (125 g)
- Volume: 13 L
- Size: 18 cm diameter × 70 cm length (unrolled)
- Fabric: ECOPAK™ EPLX200
- Best for: compressible gear (sleep kit, layers)
3) Waterproof Accessory Bag 4.5L (200 g including all straps)
- Volume: 4.5 L
- Size: 25 cm W × 7 cm D × 34 cm H (unrolled)
- Fabric: ECOPAK™ EPLX400
- Works two ways: mounts to the handlebar system OR runs as a standalone handlebar bag.
- Off-bike carry: waist / crossbody / tiny backpack modes using the included attachment set.
Total weight (full system): 585 g.
Total capacity: 17.5 L (13 L main sack + 4.5 L accessory bag).
Fit & compatibility
Designed to work with the most common handlebar shapes: drop bars, flat bars, risers, moustache bars or bullhorns.
- Minimum handlebar width: 32 cm between the drops (more is better).
- Minimum vertical clearance: 25 cm from the bottom of the handlebar to the top of the front tire.
Notes:
- Carbon handlebars: compatible, but we recommend applying protective film/tape at contact points to prevent abrasion;
- Front lights & computer mounts: may require repositioning depending on your cockpit;
- Suspension forks & small frames: clearance is the key—make sure your bike has enough of it;
Waterproof construction
This 7R handlebar pack is built from laminated waterproof ECOPAK™ EPLX400 fabric and finished with taped seams for true wet-weather protection. Both the main sack and accessory bag use a roll-top closure. For maximum waterproofing, roll the top tightly at least 3 turns before closing (the same rule many waterproof bikepacking bags use).
Load & handling
Handlebar loads affect steering. As a practical guideline, keep the handlebar system under 5-6 kg total for safe handling and cockpit hardware longevity.

The main sack uses lighter EPX200, while the harness and accessory bag use rugged EPLX400 for extra durability against rubbing and trail wear.
Care & maintenance
- Cleaning: wipe with a damp cloth + mild soap, then air dry.
- Avoid: machine washing, tumble drying, solvents, and abrasive scrubbing.
- Waterproof tip: always roll the closure at least 3 turns before buckling.
Field repair & spare parts
- Replaceable straps and hardware (carry a spare buckle on remote trips).

FAQ
Can I ride without the front accessory bag?
Yes. Run harness + 13L sack only when you want a lighter, simpler setup.
Will it fit my drop bar bike?
If you have at least 32 cm between the drops and 25 cm vertical clearance between the bottom of the handlebar and the top of the front tire, you’re in the safe zone.
Is it fully waterproof?
Yes—laminated waterproof fabrics + taped seams + roll-top closure. Roll the top at least 3 turns for maximum protection.
Is it safe on carbon handlebars?
Yes, but use protective film/tape at contact points
