The 7Roads Gravel Tote is a waterproof roll-top rack-top bag designed for bikepacking, touring and everyday cycling.

It fits our Monster Rack and can be adjusted to many other bicycle racks with platforms of similar dimensions.

With a capacity of up to 18 litres when rolled three times, it provides enough space for sleeping gear, extra clothing, a compact tent or groceries on the way home.

The Gravel Tote is based on the outer shell of our GravelSuitcase, but with a simpler construction and no additional flap. Just a waterproof roll-top compartment, a padded bottom and a detachable zippered pocket.

One strap for mounting and carrying

The Gravel Tote uses a single strap to attach the bag to the rack (plus a rear loop for the rack's "tombstone"). Installation and removal are straightforward, making it convenient when you regularly take the bag off your bike.

Once removed, the same strap works as a shoulder strap, turning the Gravel Tote into a practical bag for shopping, camping or carrying your belongings around town.

There is no need to bring a separate shoulder strap.

Roll-top closure

The roll-top design allows you to adjust the bag's height depending on how much you carry.

With three full rolls, the standard Gravel Tote provides up to 18 litres of storage. The closure keeps the main compartment protected from rain and road spray.

The padded bottom provides extra protection for your belongings and the area where the bag rests on the rack.

Please note: The bag is designed for riding in wet weather, not for submersion.

Three fabric options

The Gravel Tote is available in three different fabrics:

• X-Pac X11 combines a natural cotton outer surface with a waterproof laminate. It has a more traditional appearance and feel, although it is heavier than the other available fabrics.

• ECOPAK EPLX400 is a durable waterproof laminate made with recycled polyester. A practical choice for regular bikepacking and everyday use.

• Ultra 200X is the lightest of the three options, combining low weight with high tear and abrasion resistance. Suitable for riders who want to keep their bikepacking setup as light as possible.

All three fabrics have waterproof film backing, but differ in weight, surface texture, appearance and price.

What can you carry?

The Gravel Tote works equally well for travelling and everyday cycling.

For bikepacking trips, the main compartment can hold a sleeping bag, spare clothes, a compact tent or other camping equipment.

For daily use, it has enough room for groceries, a change of clothes or things you need during the day. The shoulder strap makes it convenient to carry everything with you when you leave the bike.

The included detachable zippered pocket provides separate storage for smaller items such as keys, a wallet or a repair kit.

Optional detachable pouches

The front of the Gravel Tote has attachment points for a pair of our detachable pouches.

These are useful for keeping smaller items such as tools, snacks, a first-aid kit or other frequently used gear separate from the main compartment.

You can use one pouch, a pair, or leave them off when you prefer a simpler setup. If you use a Side Rail, the pouches can be hung on it. 

Detachable pouches are sold separately and are available in different fabrics and colours.

Rack compatibility

The Gravel Tote was designed around the 7Roads Monster Rack, but it is not limited to our own racks.

It can also work with other front or rear racks with platforms of similar dimensions.

For the best experience, we recommend using the Gravel Tote with our Monster Rack and detachable Side Rail. The Side Rail provides additional support, helps keep the bag in position and makes installation and removal even easier.

If you have a different rack, please select the Custom option and send us its details.

The most important part is the rack's "tombstone" (the upright support at the back of the platform). Its shape, dimensions and mounting points vary considerably between manufacturers.

Depending on your rack's design, we may need to adjust the bag or make additional attachment parts to ensure a secure fit.

Custom colours and sizes

We can make the Gravel Tote in different sizes and colour combinations, depending on fabric availability.

Customisation adds 15% or more to the standard bag price, depending on the requested dimensions, materials and other changes.
